J's Pitaria was founded by Zamir and Josi with a simple goal: to share the food they grew up with and serve authentic Mediterranean meals made the right way.
What began as a small Mediterranean pie shop has grown into a St. Louis favorite known for fresh-baked pies, hand-stacked doner, artisan Somun bread, grilled specialties, and genuine hospitality.
From day one, our focus has never been on shortcuts. We believe great food starts with quality ingredients, traditional techniques, and recipes passed down through generations. Every day, our team prepares food from scratch with the same care and attention we would give to our own family.
Over the years, we've expanded our menu while staying true to our roots. Whether you're visiting for a pie, a doner sandwich, fresh-baked bread, or one of our grilled specialties, our commitment remains the same: authentic Mediterranean food made with pride.
